'Michhami Dukkadam' or micha mi dukadam are the words which are used for expression of Forgiveness by Jain religion followers during Paryushan. Jains have custom of sending samvatsari (Michhami Dukkadam) cards to family and friends to ask for forgiveness in recent years. Paryushan is biggest events for Jains. Jain is world's only religions who give equal chance of living for the all living species on the earth not only mankind. Jains celebrate the birth of the 24th tirthankara Mahavir, during Paryushan, an eight-day festival in the month of August. But unlike the festivals in other religions this festival is not about eating variety of sweets and dishes. Paryushan is celebrated with fastening � Vrat and Tap.
